Hey y’all! Guess what time it is?! It’s LSU Tiger football time! I am so excited for the game this weekend in Houston (wish I could be in attendance).
This wedding is for the die hard Tiger fans! Gold bridesmaids dresses with purple bouquets. This couple has planned their wedding according to the football schedule no doubt. They sent out their save the dates based on the LSU ticket design! The groom’s cake is lovely depiction of LSU football. This couple even got special access to take wedding photos in Death Valley! This wedding party is sure to be yelling GEAUX TIGERS by the end of the night!
I am so sorry for the lack of wedding wednesday blog posts! Finals and the end of school last week threw me for a loop.
This past weekend I turned 21 and took a birthday trip to Busch Gardens and Disneyworld! It was a blast!
With adventure and adrenaline on my mind, I was inspired to create a board for the adventurous couple. This couple is ready to take the plunge with their wonderful save the date. The couple traveled to Switzerland with the closest of family and friends for an intimate wedding ceremony. Intimate weddings are such a grand way to celebrate the joining of two people. It is a great opportunity to focus on what really matters.
In honor of the 10th Anniversary of Mean Girls, on Wednesdays, we wear pink! This wedding is for the all pink girly girl! The pink backdrop for the ceremony is simple while still making a bold statement. The bridesmaids are in a blush knee length dress. The pink glittery tablecloths are the perfect touch for this lovely couple.
As I flipped through the Kate Spade 2014 Spring Style Guide I couldn’t help but imagine sipping lemonade on the back porch on a sunny day. This inspired a bridal shower brunch full of bright yellows and blues. Guests can chose any type of lemonade from the lemonade bar. The tables feature soft simple flowers in an array of blue colored vases. This bride is all about bold patterns in a subtle way like in this gorgeous invitation suite.
In honor of Mercedes-Benz New York City Fashion Week, I thought I would create a wedding for the ultimate glam girl.
Imagine a simple and elegant with pops of unexpected glamour. That is this bride. Her bridesmaids are wearing this gorgeous red maxi skirt by Mark and Estel with a black fur coat. The brides’ flowers are elegant with a hint of black feathers. Both the invitation and cake are a simple ivory with metallic gold touches. This bride is rocking her sparkly gold Christian Louboutins like she is on the red carpet.
For the third day, we have had classes cancelled due to “inclement weather”. Freezing temperatures and icy roads are not common in Louisiana. So I’ve bunkered down and watched plenty of Netflix. In honor of this icy day, I decided to kick off my Wedding Wednesdays. Each Wednesday *hopefully*, I will post a wedding inspiration board. Can you imagine a snowy outdoor wedding?! So romantic. A mixture of greys keeps this wedding fresh and not frozen. Pine cone escort cards lead guests to their tables where a fancy smore treat awaits. The newlywed couple and guests dance the night away under the stars and fluttering snowflakes!
